Chad – Mission Aviation Fellowship

Andrew Mumford flies small aircraft (a Cessna Caravan and Cessna 182) for Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), based at N’Djaména, the capital of Chad.  MAF is a Christian charity specialising in flying medical and mission personnel and supplies to remote parts of the country.  Often this is the only practical means of travel, in a vast country which has few roads and no railways.  His wife Hannah is a home-maker with baby Jacob at home, and their other two children, Zack (8) and Esther (5) are at primary school locally.  Andrew grew up in Chichester and attended St Pancras church, and his parents are members of the church.
